While continuing the tradition of Nandana they also kept the customers’ demand in mind started experimenting with different design and dyeing pattern. They evolved with a technique where syahi-begar print (Mordant printing) and dabu print (Resist printing) combined today known as Tarapur print.

A combination of syahi-begar (red & black) printing and dabu (resist) printing today practiced by Tarapur printers marketed as Tarapur print.

This combination of two block printing techniques goes through 12 steps process and minimum 18 to 20 days to prepare a lot of 25 bed sheets or 50 sarees depending upon the designing.

Washing Instructions:

1. Hand wash only.
2. Dark colors may bleed, should be washed separately
3. Natural detergents like ‘Aritha” or “Ritha” powder recommended. Baby shampoo or PH neutral soap works well
4. Do not scrub
5. No bleaching
6. Dry reverse or in shade
7. Do not use hot water in washing process

8.We do not recommend dry clean as its results were not satisfactory.
